Subway Leapfrog helps NYC subway riders decide whether to take an express or local train between two stations by evaluating live MTA arrival data.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

Location

The app may request access to your device’s location to identify nearby subway stations. Your location is used only on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

Favorites

Station favorites are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

Network Requests

The app fetches live train arrival data directly from the MTA’s public GTFS-RT feeds. No personal information is included in these requests.

Bug Reports

If you choose to submit a bug report, it opens your email app with a pre-addressed message. You control what you send — no data is transmitted automatically.

Third-Party Services

The app communicates only with the MTA’s public data feeds. There are no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.
